Bible Art Journaling: Week 8

Hello friends!
Today I have so much I want to share with you!  First up is my 16 page ROMANS 1-3 handmade journal.  I am happy with how it's turning out, even though the bright colors of the first pages are not really in my creative comfort zone, this page is!  I created a Hymn Girl to add to this page that is holding a stick of dynamite, as the word 'power' shares a word picture.  The gospel is the power of God unto salvation.  I wrote around more subtly my thoughts and definitions in this scripture.
I also wanted to share one of my Bible Art Journaling pages in my bible using a new stamp set called BIBLE ART JOURNALING: BIBLE STUDY PHRASES that has REALLY been useful in my bible study time.  Here is some work I did in a bible study on a section of Luke that I used in my Bible Art Journaling time here:

Several asked about the verses I used inside my FULLY GOD FULLY MAN section and here are some of those:  john 1:1, 1:14, 8:58-59, 8:24...Exodus 3:14-15, Hebrews 1:3-4, 8,  Colossians 2:9-12, 1:15-20, John 17:5, Isaiah 7:14, Michah 5:2, etc.  A great study for those interested would be the prophecies Jesus fulfilled in Scripture!

Have a very blessed weekend!
May God bless your ART...and your Heart!

Week 7: Bible Art Journaling (Romans 1:16-17)

Hello friends!
I have had a pretty tiring sinus infection this past week which has caused me to run this post a little late!  I actually have more to share with you, including the Bible Verses several of you requested from the FULLY GOD FULLY MAN part of this journal I created.  I will have all of these things for you Friday!

Today, for Friday's missed post, I am sharing with you the next page in my Romans handmade 16 page Bible Art Journal which I still have some work I want to do on it this week and will share with you in this Friday's posting, but I wanted you to see the process so will share what i have done now.

I turn from the last page then show you this page in the photos to follow:
I did a close up of the lettering I did.  I wrote them all with a fine lined Micron black pen then went over the words I wanted to highlight and embolden.  The wave was made by drawing a wavy line in mechanical pencil across then writing the letters in to fill in the spaces.

I have definitions of these power-verses I want to get into the margins and some application take aways to get in before I call this page 'done'.

I'll be back Wednesday with more artwork!
May God bless your ART...and you HEART,
Antoinette

Bible Art Journaling Romans 1:1-4: week 6

 Hello friends,
Today I have the next pages of my handmade journal completed to show you from my ROMANS ch 1-3 Journal completed!

Last week I shared the cover:
And here is how I began these pages with paint and a sketch of what I wanted to do:

And here is how I completed the pages:

There is a mini book in the center I created using CTMH Flip Flaps, E6000 glue, and black Washi tape along with a painted handmade mini album.  This contains Scripture from the Old Testament and New Testament showing Jesus as fully God and fully man.  I tied it together so it stays closed but can be opened if desired.
Here are some closeups of different parts:

MATERIALS USED:
To see how to make the journal, go to the previous 2 posts on Bible Art Journaling.
I hand lettered much of this using Micron pens and Sharpie markers.
I used Tombow markers for the background colors.
Inspired Stamps from my etsy store used are:
Colorable Alphabet
HYMN GIRLS: Girl Holding a Sign
His Cross (will be in the etsy shop later this week!)
2x2" Single Stamp: 1 Corinthians 15:4-5
Journal Shapes

Have a blessed week and I'll be back soon with more artwork!
May God bless your ART...and your HEART,
Antoinette
